The driver in a horrific car crash occurring in Derry, New Hampshire on New Year’s Eve has died from his injuries. The accident occurred at around 10:30pm on Gulf Road in Derry. The vehicle crashed into a tree at a high rate of speed.
Kyle Ross, of Derry, died Wednesday of his injuries. He was not wearing a seat belt while driving, police said.
One passenger, Johanna Morse, 16, of Derry, suffered serious injuries in the crash.
A second passenger, Thompson Upham-Davis, 16, of Chester, suffered minor injuries.
Ross and Morse, who were trapped in the vehicle, were taken to the hospital by medical helicopter after the crash, police said.
Although the crash is still under investigation, officials said speed does seem to be a factor.
